Shield 23 Foundation Golf Outing – For the Love of Family and Brotherhood
Join us for a day of golf, food, and camaraderie at the Shield 23 Foundation Golf Outing, a nonprofit event dedicated to raising funds and supporting firefighters battling cancer and their families.
Event Details
- Date: Friday, August 23rd, 2024
- Location: Chalet Hills Golf Course, 943 Rawson Bridge Rd, Cary, IL
- Time: Full-day event with lunch and dinner included in the entry fee
- Entry Fee:
- Early Bird (per 4-some): $123 ($492 total)
- After July 1st (per 4-some): $150 ($600 total)
- Food Only: $30
Shotgun start will be at 9am. Our format for play this year is a Scramble.
We also elected to play circle 10 (on the 10th shot, pick up the ball and move to next hole) to keep the pace of play moving. At the turn golfers will be able to go to the clubhouse for a complimentary boxed lunch (Ham/Turkey Sandwich, Chips and Cookie).
The winning team will go home with $600, Second, $300 and Third will go home with $200.
There will be opportunities to bet and win money such as longest drive, straightest drive, closest to the pin, baggo etc.
We are projecting dinner will be served around 3pm when the golfers finish their round (Vegetarian pasta, Italian Beef, Green Beans, and Garden Salad). Raffle prizes will be announced after dinner, winner does not need to be present.
