Donate

Your donation will help alleviate some of the financial hardship and emotional stress incurred by the family during a firefighter’s battle with cancer. Your donation contributes to Shield 23 Foundation’s Giftings of financial support and is one way to help offset the impact of this burden on the firefighter and their family.

We count on people like yourself to support our Mission goals of:

  • Defraying the cost of cancer treatment and care for the firefighter
  • Covering associated necessary and proper monetary needs for the family
  • Increasing public awareness of the impact of job-related cancer in the fire service
  • Encouraging education and cancer risk prevention practices in the fire service

Your donation will contribute to Shield 23 Foundation’s Giftings of Financial Assistance which are customized to each firefighter and their family’s needs and can be used to offset such burdens as:

  • Costs of Medical Care not Covered by Insurance
  • Adjunct Support Services such as Counseling and related Wellness Care
  • Transportation & Travel
  • Loss of Income
  • Household Bills & Expenses
  • Childcare
  • Meals
  • Family Member Activities
  • Sports & Extracurriculars

Thank you for your generous donation and support of our Mission goals!
