Welcome to the 3rd Annual Fight Smoke, Fire, and Cancer Golf Outing! We are excited to have you join us this Friday, August 15th, at Chalet Hills Golf Club, 943 Rawson Bridge Rd, Cary, IL.
Thanks to events like this, the Shield 23 Foundation has raised over $400,000 to support firefighters battling cancer and the families who stand beside them.
Registration opens at 7:30 a.m. When you arrive, you can enjoy complimentary donuts and bagels, along with a goodie bag and two drink tickets.
This year, we’re offering a Premium Ticket Package for $100 (a $115 value), which includes:
2 raffle basket sheets (50 raffle basket tickets) and 2 door prize tickets – $50 value
1 premium raffle basket ticket – $25 value
Arms-length 50/50 raffle – $20 value
Specialty (4) holes wristband – $20 value
All items are also available for individual purchase.
We’re also bringing back the Ball Drop – $20 per square, with the winner taking home $1,000.
Shotgun start is at 9 a.m., and we’ll be playing a Scramble format. In a golf scramble, each player hits their ball, and the team chooses the best shot to play next. The lowest total score wins.
This year, we’re also playing “Circle 10” (pick up the ball after the 10th shot and move to the next hole) to keep things moving.
At the turn, golfers can stop by the clubhouse for a complimentary boxed lunch.
Prizes for the winning teams:
1st place: $600
2nd place: $300
3rd place: $200
Dinner is expected to be served around 3 p.m., once golfers finish their round.
Raffle prize winners will be announced after dinner. You do not need to be present to win.
