Media Spotlight: Firefighters and Cancer Awareness

Lauren Jiggets from Channel 9 visited Station 2 to cover a story on firefighters and cancer. A big thank you to Lauren for highlighting this critical issue! We also want to express our gratitude to Chief Paul Polep and the Evanston Fire Department for providing Station 2 as the location for this feature. On April 6th, the Evanston Firefighters Local 742 hosted our Final 4 Fundraiser to benefit the Shield 23 Foundation. The story is expected to air in early May.
