S23F’s 3rd Annual Golf Outing: A TEE-rrific Success!

WOW! S23F’s 3rd Annual Fight Smoke, Fire, and Cancer Golf Outing was a TEE-rrific success!!

We can’t wait to begin planning for an even bigger and better event next year! Know that your participation was all in support of our mission to raise funds for and gift funds to firefighters battling cancer and the families who stand beside them.

A Few Special Thank-Yous

First: THANK YOU to all the GOLFERS who registered and played on a beautiful day! We kept hearing what a wonderful group you were. It was great to see so many returning golfers as well as new ones! We hope you enjoyed the new and improved ideas.

Second: THANK YOU to all the SUPPORTERS who purchased tickets for raffle baskets, 50/50, and the Ball Drop, as well as merchandise, or just came out for the food and fun! Your support helps our Giftings go further.

Third: THANK YOU to CHAIR Ryan for organizing, somehow being in two or three places at once, and being an amazing MC!

Fourth: THANK YOU to our S23F BOARD MEMBERS for showing up before, during, and after the outing! From managing the tech, website, and PR, to soliciting basket donations and wrapping them, to securing sponsors and donors, to showing up and setting up… it takes a team to pull these off. We might be small, but we’re mighty! Yay to teamwork!

Fifth: THANK YOU to our VOLUNTEERS!! We couldn’t pull this off without you. Your enthusiasm, energy, patience, and can-do attitude were outstanding!
