Summer Success: S23F’s Record-Breaking Golf Outing & Gratitude to Our Supporters
Now that fall has come and the temperatures have started dropping, we at S23F want to let you know how great our summer has been and it’s thanks to all of you!
We had a blast at our first annual Fight Smoke, Fire and Cancer Golf Outing! We raised more money than we ever have at an event. I would like to give a shoutout to our winners of the outing edging out 1st place in a playoff North Chicago Firefighters IAFF Local 3271 and second place Oswego Firefighters Local 4773 for not only playing their butts off but also donating back their winnings!
With the funds donated from the golf outing, we were able to help several firefighters over the summer donating more than $18,000 to firefighters with cancer, moving our total gifted to over $90,000!
