Supporting First Responder Wellness at the Frontline Convention

Shield 23 Foundation President Shenan recently had the honor of both attending and speaking at the impactful Frontline Convention hosted by the 100 Club of Illinois. The convention focused on the critical topic of wellness for first responders, bringing together leaders, advocates, and organizations dedicated to supporting those who serve our communities.

During the event, Shenan co-presented at the workshop titled Beyond the Badge: Cancer Prevention and Detection. The session focused on raising awareness, sharing resources, and encouraging proactive health practices for first responders.

Joining Shenan on the panel were moderator Scott Moran, Attorney with Anesi Ozmon, along with Vickie Speed, Founder of Blue Cancer Connect. Together, the panel shared important insights and resources aimed at improving prevention, early detection, and support for those in the first responder community.

Shield 23 Foundation also extends a special thank you to the Frontline Care Center for graciously hosting our informational materials during the convention.

We are grateful for opportunities like this to connect with organizations and advocates who share our commitment to supporting the health and well-being of firefighters and first responders.
