The “Coolest” Way to Support Our Fire Family

Shield 23 Foundation was thrilled to once again be named a beneficiary of one of the “coolest” charity hockey tournaments around!

A huge thank you to Arlington Heights Firefighters IAFF Local 3105 and Des Plaines Professional Firefighters Association IAFF Local 4211 for putting together another fantastic fundraising event.

Being selected as a beneficiary directly supports our mission of raising funds for firefighters battling cancer and providing assistance to them and the families standing beside them throughout their fight.

Representing S23F and “pulling shifts” throughout the day were President Shenan, Secretary Andie, Treasurer John, and 4th Director Rudy, with a little help from a certain mascot!

Events like this are another reminder that the fire service truly is a family.
